Canceling Your Recurring Premium Reimbursement

This article applies to you if you have a Via Benefits reimbursement account, sometimes called a Health Reimbursement Arrangement.*

Future Recurring Premium Reimbursement requests can be canceled through the Via Benefits Accounts mobile app or website if you no longer wish to receive recurring reimbursements. Please note that only future recurring premium payments can be canceled; payments that have already been processed cannot be changed or stopped.

Cancel Your Recurring Premium Reimbursement on the Mobile App

To cancel your future Recurring Premium Reimbursement requests on the mobile app, complete these steps:

1. Sign in to the mobile app.

You can download the Via Benefits Accounts mobile app from the App Store or Google Play

2. Select your HRA account on the Dashboard. The account name is specific to your former employer or benefits provider and may say something else, such as RHRA, ARA or RRA.

3. On the HRA Activity page, select the recurring payment that you want to cancel.

 
 

4. Select Cancel Payments in the Payment Breakdown section to cancel all future payments.

 
 

5. Select Yes, Cancel All to confirm you want to cancel all future payments. 

Note: Select No, Not Now to return to the Activity Details page.

 
 

6. Select OK, Got it to dismiss the message confirming cancelation and return to the Activity Details page. 

 
 

7. The initial display in the Payment Breakdown section for Amount Scheduled changes to Payments Canceled.

 

Cancel Your Recurring Premium Reimbursement on the Website

Note: Some information may be cut off if you set your browser to 125% zoom or higher. We recommend using 100% zoom and expanding your browser.

To cancel your future Recurring Premium Reimbursement requests on the website, complete these steps:

1. Sign in to your Via Benefits account.
2. Select View Accounts in the Funds and Reimbursements section.
3. Select Visit the Reimbursement Center for the desired account on the Request Reimbursement and Manage Funds tab.
4. Select HRA, and then select the Activity tab.

Note: The HRA tab is customized for your former employer or benefits provider and may have a different name (for example, ARA, HRA).

5. Locate the recurring premium that needs to be canceled under Your Account Activity.
6. Select Processing Scheduled to view the Activity Details section.

Note: The premium's status may display as "Partially Paid" or "Processing Payment."

 
 

7. Select Cancel Payment(s) under Payment Breakdown.

 
 

8. Select Yes, Cancel Payment(s) to continue. A message appears confirming the cancellation. Select Nevermind if you no longer want to cancel.

 
 

The Activity Details section displays scheduled payments that were canceled. If you're unable to complete this process on the website, please call us for assistance.
